Have you ever watched the show “Myth Busters”?
I love that show. One thing I really love about those guys is the fact that they are so accurate in everything they do. They make sure that every painstaking detail is paid attention to when doing experiments.
Whether it’s making sure there is enough water in a shark tank to simulate movement, or if the dimensions of the mannequins they use are truly accurate to a person they are trying to simulate…. they really do a phenomenal job.
Another thing I really love about that show is that those guys really play by their own rules. You can tell they are really enjoying life. You can see it through down to the style of clothing and facial hair they choose… it’s awesome.
Anyway, I’m digressing. What I’m saying is that you need to make sure that when you run your experiments that you make sure that you also have accuracy just like those fellows. If you do, you will be just fine.

So the other day a colleague of mine inquired about a method of research I am using nanotechnology. In a nutshell what we are doing is finding a way to create anything out of tiny little nanobots. We are talking both functional things like a gun or non functional things like plus size lingerie basically out of software programming.
Although we are very far from this right now – this Star Trekkian piece of technology isn’t unrealistic. In fact, right now, as we speak, in Japan they are working on Robots that are created out of Foam that solidifies over a few working squares. The squares being the joints of the robot and the foam being the ultimate body of the robot.
It’s pretty freakin cool stuff.
There was a Ted video on it somewhere. Can’t find it right now – but I’ll tweet it if you are interested in it.
Anyway- till next time.
